International Women’s Day 2026 In Australia: For Men, By Men, Women Optional

International Women’s Day is supposed to celebrate women. You know, the adult human female kind. The kind with ovaries, not vocal training sessions designed to hide a baritone.

Yet in Australia (of course), they have arrived at the point where men are hosting an International Women’s Day event for themselves.

Of course, the real comedy begins when you read the actual program.

Apparently Womanhood Now Requires Workshops

The event description promises “workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, free headshots, vocal training, support with legal gender affirmation, a delicious lunch and MORE!”

The workshop lineup reads like a syllabus for an identity boot camp.

One session is titled “Intro to Vocal Coaching,” which promises to help participants refine their voices. Because when nature hands you a baritone, the modern solution is a coach who teaches you how to sand it down.

Another workshop is called “Confidence and Embodiment.” The description does not specify what that means, but one imagines lessons in posture, gestures, how to project the right kind of feminine energy while walking into a room, and perhaps a tutorial on the delicate mechanics of tucking.

Then there is “Protest as a Mechanism to Secure Justice.” In other words, step three in the program appears to be learning how to organize demonstrations once steps one and two fail to convince the rest of the public.

How to Fight Back When Reality Interferes

Another keynote is titled “Trans Rights Now!” and will reportedly focus on what organizers call the future of trans liberation. The women part of International Women’s Day seems to have been quietly removed from the agenda.

One session is bluntly titled “So… Your Boss Sucks?” and promises to teach attendees about workplace discrimination and their rights. Apparently the program includes strategies for when your employer declines to participate in the illusion.

Another workshop, “Being You: Changing ID,” walks participants through how to update their name and gender markers on official documents. Because if biology won’t change, the paperwork might as well.

And then there is perhaps the most telling session of all: “Takedowns.”

That workshop teaches participants how to get photos and other information removed from the internet. Which makes sense. When your identity depends on presentation, controlling the photographic evidence becomes a priority.

Money Meant for Women, Redirected to Men

Of course, once you read through the program, one detail stands out beyond the obvious absurdity.

The event reportedly received close to $25,000 in funding from the New South Wales government through a grant tied to International Women’s Day programming. A program for real women. But nope. The men in dresses wants to come in and swipe it all for themselves.

Taxpayer money intended to support women’s initiatives is now helping fund workshops where men learn how to better impersonate women. And let me say for the record, men can never better impersonate women. It’s just gross. And perverted.

Somewhere along the way, the definition of “women’s programs” apparently expanded to include men practicing their falsetto.

Don’t Laugh Too Hard, America

Of course, this is happening in Australia.

At this point, that almost feels predictable. Australia lost its appetite for common sense somewhere around 2020, when the country proved it was perfectly willing to surrender basic freedoms in the name of public safety.

Some Americans will read this and shrug anyway. That’s Australia, they’ll say. Different country. Their circus, their monkeys.

Different Country, Same Playbook

But the ideology behind it did not originate in Sydney. It grew out of the same activist networks and academic institutions that operate throughout the United States.

Ideas like this have a habit of traveling.

Now, some people will argue that America has already started pushing back. They’ll point to the Trump administration, recent court rulings, and new state laws that restrict gender ideology in schools and medical settings.

And yes, there has been pushback.

But that does not mean the activists packed up and went home.

They are still fighting for every inch of ground they lost.

Take New York for example.

According to reports circulating online, New York Attorney General Letitia James recently issued a letter to NYU Langone demanding that the hospital resume its transgender youth program after it had shut it down. The program involved medical interventions for minors tied to gender transition.

In other words, the ideology driving events like the one in Sydney has not disappeared. It is still active, still organized, and still supported by major institutions.

The only difference is that in some places it is being challenged. This is probably why activists feel the need to host workshops, coaching sessions, and legal seminars to maintain the illusion.

Turns out womanhood now comes with a training manual.
