My heart just goes out to this man. I am also so glad to hear that his community is rallying around him — unsurprisingly, most of them are military families or former military themselves. My prayers go out to him and the rest of the Long family, as well as wounded soldier Private Quinton Ezeagwula and his family.
Rest in peace, Private Long. And Semper Fi, dad. You are not alone.

Well… we can certainly count on the President to ignore this little ‘event.’ After all, He just pronounced the United States to be the worlds biggest Muslim nation.
Many prayers for this family. What a terrible loss.
We also must hold our leaders responsible for failing to take appropriate actions against radicals who would do such things.
