Ella Emhoff, 26, the privileged stepdaughter of Kamala Harris, and Sydney Sweeney, 27, native Washingtonian, both spent their middle/high school years only 18 miles apart in the Los Angeles basin. Yet you’d be hard pressed to find two more different young women.

Sydney caught the attention of a wider audience when her cheeky, American Eagle Jeans advertisement, triggered the usual opprobrium from the blue-hair, nose-ring crowd of the Left. However, this time the wider audience dismissed and mocked the garment-rending harpies. And Sydney said …

… nothing.

And that was the right thing to do. Because despite the sickening uproar, nothing had actually happened. (snip)

Well, it turns out she also won a second gene lottery, albeit one also influenced by proper parenting: She’s tough.

Sydney may have chosen early to pursue acting, with some good measure of success, but her level-headed approach to living her life on her own terms bespeaks a woman who is both comfortable in her own skin and has the rational self-confidence to ignore the demands of the chattering classes. She not only is a car enthusiast who has restored two vintage cars herself … but …

… OMG, she shoots, too!

Now, before I go further, I’d like to point out that since the Cancelation of Aryan Princess Sydney has been an abject failure, the left has moved to the “Republican’s pounce” stage and denied they ever paid attention to her. Really.

Now we come to Ella, who signed her modeling contract in January 2021, right after stepmommy Kamala was sworn in as VP. Quite the coinky-dink, eh? But model she has, on runways and red carpets in looks that are the usual avant-garde high fashion of ugly chic. As artists keep trying to find new levels of offending the normies, designers work hard at making anti-fashion. In addition, where Sydney displays a practical no-more-effs-to-give attitude towards Woke-groupthink, Ella is steeped in luxury beliefs. And suffers for it.

Imagine being so paralyzed by fears of environmental doom that you’re questioning whether to build a family or buy a home.

Dear lord, that vocal fry! No wonder she’s a model and not an actress.

But the sheer amount of floating neuroticism and free-form bloviating in her own word salad is depressing. Ella pretty much represents a certain segment of young Leftwing women who exhaust you with their unending complaints and frowny faces. They are Gen Z Eeyores.

And they make the world a worse place.

Ella and Sydney could be considered signposts along the road into the future. Which one represents the future you’d like to see?
