Monkeypox, Pride and the Cult Of Irresponsibility

Monkeypox, Pride and the Cult Of Irresponsibility

If there was one person who epitomizes the caricature of Millennials as the entitled, insufferable whiners of Generation Participation Trophy, it is Sebastian Köhn and his overwrought lament that The System™ gave him Monkeypox.

I got monkeypox and it’s been a total nightmare.

When New York Pride festivities kicked off on 24 June, I was aware that monkeypox was an emerging issue – especially for gay men – but I was also under the impression that the number of cases in the city was relatively small. What I didn’t understand was how absolutely dismal testing capacity was: at that point, the city only had capacity to process ten tests a day.

I had sex with several guys over the weekend. Then a week later, on 1 July, I started feeling very fatigued. I had a high fever with chills and muscle aches, and my lymph nodes were so swollen they were protruding two inches out of my throat.

Köhn goes on to describe in excruciating detail all of the symptoms he was experiencing. He decides to go to urgent care with the full expectation that he’d get the magic pill antiviral of his desires. But, lo and behold, they require a test first. Who knew? Then this:

The next day I got my STI results: positive for gonorrhoea.

Let’s pause here and consider that Mr. Köhn has already written that he spent a weekend celebrating Pride month having sex with several men and, we can easily conclude that no condoms were in evidence since he came down with both Monkeypox and gonorrhea. He also writes in the beginning he was well aware of the Monkeypox within the gay community and still went ahead with his Pride behavior, expecting that some sort of magic pill would be there for him that would solve everything easy peasy.

The hubris is jaw dropping. And more than that, Köhn is also one of those people who should have absolutely known better.

What you see in the above image is a screenshot from Köhn’s Linked In account. It’s not just that this promiscuous wokester is currently a Director for Soro’s notorious Open Society Foundation, but that he spent the prior 8.5 years in the public health sector dealing with sex health issues.

This takes dramatic irony to a whole new level.

It is really hard to feel any sympathy for a man who dealt professionally with public health sex issues, acknowledges he’s been aware of Monkeypox from its appearance months ago, who then tosses it all to the wind in order to get his gay kink on. It’s like the lessons of AIDS are to be dismissed with an exaggerated hand wave cuz I’ll just go to the clinic and get a pill afterwards.

The decadence and rot within the Pride community has been evident for some time. And it’s become even more in-your-face with things like Drag Queen story hours and the targeting of kids in schools with Gender Queer theory. Coupled with the well-established Victim Olympics, even the idea of actually slowing down to weigh the pros/cons of a particular behavior, let alone accepting responsibility for consequences, is dismissed out of hand.

Sebastian got monkeypox and gonorrhea after choosing to behave like the guest of honor at a Roman Bacchanalia and nothing indicates he learned any lessons at all about it. Indeed, he ends his whiner-fest with more sniveling about how the healthcare system let him down. It’s as if condoms, restraint or even committed monogamy are unknown in his world. The demands of his little head come first!

And that’s what’s worse. He had a perfect opportunity for self-reflection and even a mild I wish I had chosen to behave differently. It could have been a teaching moment as valuable as any antiviral. But nooooo …

So, a pox on the prideful and narcissistic little slut.

“So, a pox on the prideful and narcissistic little slut.”… Well stated Darleen.. Seems he has reaped what he has sown, and as posted in the previous post, my field is barren.

Scott, I would say the same applies to the pro-aborts who are now whining that they won’t be able to randomly engage in hook up behavior.

Neither they nor Sebastian understand that abstinence works every time it’s tried.

  • Lloyd says:

Ahh, but you miss the point: Kohn and co. are and wish to remain blameless. They subscribe to the “Devil…or conservative pro-Americans made me do it!” If it were not after the fact, I would say, “Let the pox be with him!”

    • NTSOG says:

Lloyd “the devil made me do it …” is the sort of mindset one sees in very young and pre-moral children yet to become socialised and learn to consider and manage their own behaviour and their behaviour in relation to others. This supposedly intelligent adult has abrogated complete personal responsibility yet he is the one who had multiple sexual liaisons with men. As was said by John Webster in 1612 “For they that sleep with dogs, shall rise with fleas” – or something even nastier in his case. This man encapsulates to me the extreme self-indulgent mindset of the progressive left as a social movement while its members proclaim their own moral and intellectual superiority. In short play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I have no sympathy for him and his decadent, dissolute mates.

And you can bet that the next time he gets to spend a weekend rear-ending a bunch of like minded individuals, he won’t bother to tell them about the bonus gift they’ll be getting.. One of the reasons that STD’s spread so fast in that “community”…well, that and their penchant for animals…

Having already been called “homophobic” for criticizing the gay community for their behavior, my ability to care can be tactfully described as “Non-Existent.”

I think I figured out your problem, Sebastian!

  • GWB says:

let alone accepting responsibility for consequences
I will reiterate that hedonism – pleasure without consequences – is one of the primary doctrines of the Progressive religion. It is one of the points about which hinges all the rest, and one of the prime measures of achieving their utopia.

Learn to recognize Progressivism as a religion. Only then can you fight back successfully against it.

  • NTSOG says:

A headline in an Australian paper this morning: “LGBTQ organisations call for monkeypox vaccine rollout [in Australia] as virus spreads”.

Further in the article: “There are now at least 41 cases in Australia. For reasons scientists do not yet understand, the current outbreak is largely affecting men who have sex with men …” There is concern about the pox spreading to other groups, e.g. children, but, going on the attitude of Sebastian [above], that would seem to be of little concern to some from the Alphabet ‘collective’.

It seems to me that a certain group of ‘consenting’ men should show some restraint and even use precautions, though the latter might reduce so-called pleasure.

    • GWB says:

Your advice sounds eerily familiar to … something that was going on in the 80s. Wish I could remember what that was…….

  • dave says:

just look up the Dallas buyers club and Dr fraudchi. Elbow deep in the aids epidemic and made it worse. Still at it with covid and he’s drooling over money pox
You know the k is silent, right?

  • […] We have some suggestions but we don’t think NYC Health would appreciate them. Certainly Sebastian Kohn […]
