Biden: A Two-State Solution And Scolding Violent West Bank Settlers Is Necessary

Biden, while pushing yet again for a two-state solution has decided that scolding those violent Israelis in the West Bank is necessary.

Yes folks, that’s what he wrote in an op-ed for the Washington Post yesterday. An op-ed that did an admirable job – sarc of advocating yet again for MORE stuff to Ukraine and “both siding” the issue of Israel and Hamas.

As we strive for peace, Gaza and the West Bank should be reunited under a single governance structure, ultimately under a revitalized Palestinian Authority, as we all work toward a two-state solution. I have been emphatic with Israel’s leaders that extremist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank must stop and that those committing the violence must be held accountable. The United States is prepared to take our own steps, including issuing visa bans against extremists attacking civilians in the West Bank.

The international community must commit resources to support the people of Gaza in the immediate aftermath of this crisis, including interim security measures, and establish a reconstruction mechanism to sustainably meet Gaza’s long-term needs. And it is imperative that no terrorist threats ever again emanate from Gaza or the West Bank.

Read the above again. Biden and others are still calling for a two-state solution between Palestine and Israel. A two-state solution that was flat out REJECTED by Palestine multiple times. Let’s be clear, the government of Palestine is…HAMAS. Hamas runs Palestine. Their charter demands the eradication of Israel. Palestinians keep voting for these terrorists. Per Rami Igra, a former Mossad chief,

As you will have seen in the last couple of weeks, the fighting is very surgical. It is slow. It is very methodical. We are trying not to reach any of the non-combatant population in the Gaza Strip. And I think that there is no way that we can eradicate the Hamas without dealing with most of its forces that have been— that have fled to the south. Now, again, one little note, “the non-combatant population in the Gaza Strip” is really a non-existent term because all of the Gazans voted for the Hamas, and as we have seen on the 7th of October, most of the population in the Gaza Strip are Hamas. [Emphasis Added]

The Gaza Ministry is Hamas, yet we are supposed to believe that Israel has killed nearly 11,000 Palestinians?

We are also supposed to believe without question that it is solely extremist Israeli settlers who are arbitrarily attacking Palestinian farms all over the West Bank? Don’t get me wrong, the violence from a fringe group has been a problem for Israel for quite some time.

Settlers injured at least 170 Palestinians last year and killed five, U.N. monitors reported. [Update, Feb. 22, 2022: One of the five Palestinians was killed in self-defense, and one in unresolved circumstances, according to the U.N.]

During the same period, Palestinians injured at least 110 settlers and killed two, U.N. records show. The Israeli Army said that Palestinians had injured 137 Israeli civilians in the West Bank last year.

Benny Gantz, Israel’s defense minister, described it as “a serious phenomenon” and announced the formation of special military teams to patrol flash points like Burin. Three Israeli reserve generals wrote in January that settler violence posed a threat not only to Palestinians, but also to Israel’s stability and its global image.

Realistically the Israeli’s should’ve done something about it long before October 7.

Is it really OUR job to go after these fringe extremists? I can’t help but think that doing this is a VERY BAD IDEA.

That said, pushing for a two-state solution is yet again another instance of throwing the same ideas at the wall in hopes that it will finally stick. As Mark Levin points out, Anthony Blinken has tried for years to get this two-state solution to work, while putting money back into Iran’s pockets.

It’s well worth viewing Levin’s entire tweet and following the links. Blinken will push for a two-state solution as he always has while ignoring the fact that Hamas will never agree to this. They want it ALL.

At least Joe Biden, in his op-ed, admits that Hamas is notorious for using schools and hospitals as shields to hide their terrorist activities. Yet, Biden tap-dances around the fact that Hamas will never agree to a two-state solution. The attack on October 7 should’ve been a wake-up call regarding how much a failure the diplomatic solution to this is.

Joe Biden and the Obama acolytes in his Administration are going to ignore the realities on the ground. They will still hand Iran money, while dismissing the fact that Iran funds, trains, and arms Hamas.

When The Squad is for this, you KNOW it’s a bad idea. A two-state solution won’t work until Hamas is neutralized and Iran stops funding terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank.

Hamas says no. Repeatedly. Try again, Joe.

What Biden wrote qualifies as pure pablum. It won’t upset your stomach, but nobody want it, either.

Biden does not actually have a solution. He just wants to use Israel as leverage to send more money to Ukraine. There is something very odd about that. These two military actions have only one thing in common, without Biden’s absurdly weak economic and foreign policy, neither would have happened.

All indications are that Biden is in Xi’s pocket. He needs to be impeach and jailed for taking bribes.

Biden is fully bought off by the CCP. A dishonest fool.

What you mean, ‘we’, kemosabe?* The Palestinians – ALL of them – have repeatedly rejected any ‘solution’ that leaves Israel in existence.

extremist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank
WT Actual? The sky is not blue in his universe.

including issuing visa bans against extremists attacking civilians in the West Bank
Does that mean you will refuse to issue visas (and revoke those of people already here) to Hamas and its supporters? (Narrator: No, it doesn’t mean that; of course not.)

The international community must commit resources to support the people of Gaza in the immediate aftermath of this crisis
No, actually, they should NOT. They should let them suffer from their own stupidity so maybe they learn. And “this crisis”?! How about “after this horrific act of war against Israel”? Or “after the terrorist attack by Gazans”? Let’s frame this properly – in accord with the truth.

And it is imperative that no terrorist threats ever again emanate from Gaza or the West Bank.
This was the only intelligent thing said in that pile of malarkey. And everything else said is in direct contradiction to that statement.

Yeesh. And all of that is just that one quoted bit from The Puppet. I’m not going to bother to fisk the rest.

(* That’s an oooold joke. The Lone Ranger and Tonto enter a gulch in the desert, and suddenly Indians appear all over the canyon rims. The Lone Ranger looks around and says, “Tonto, I think we’re in trouble.” Tonto replies, “What you mean ‘we’, kemosabe?”)
(That joke is also considered racist, for some reason, nowadays.)

“the non-combatant population in the Gaza Strip” is really a non-existent term because all of the Gazans voted for the Hamas
Well, that’s not really the definition of “non-combatant.” You might consider it to do with “innocence” – as in “innocent civilians.” But there are some measure of non-combatants in Gaza, despite them having voted for Hamas to lead them. The real issue is that most of what progressives deem non-combatants (because they believe in groups, and women and children are never combatants in their mind, even when crying about “child soldiers” somewhere) are NOT so in Gaza.
