President Trump is spreading a nationwide epidemic. It seems that wherever he goes, liberals become gravely affected by Trump Derangement Syndrome. Let’s call it TDS, for short.

This time the outbreak occurred in Florida, on Saturday. While the President was returning to Mar-a-Lago after golfing, some disgruntled driver thought it would be an awesome idea to cut into his motorcade. Needless to say, that maneuver fell flat, as local law enforcement pulled his red van over. But the man’s antics didn’t end there. As a White House pool reporter said, “the driver made obscene gestures and screamed several expletives.”

Nice job there, Sparky. What did you think would result from your tantrum? Did you think Trump would jump out of his armored vehicle, rush up to you, and profusely apologize for living rent-free in your head? And then resign and turn the Presidency over to Hillary?

Right. This doofus didn’t think this out too well, did he? Ah, but such are the effects of TDS. It robs liberals of their common sense.

Like it did late last month for this woman cyclist who flipped off Trump — once again while he was traveling in a motorcade — and lost her job as a result.

Technically this nincompoop didn’t get sacked for the actual gesture, but because she shared it on social media. Naturally her fellow liberal travelers screeched about “freedom of speech” (which, of course, applies only to them and not conservatives). Her former company is a government contractor, and its employee manual reads that ‘hostile’ social media postings can lead to termination. Under the First Amendment, the government can’t jail her for her actions, but a private employer sure as hell can fire her. And they did.

TDS even showed up on the sacred grounds of Arlington National Cemetery. On Memorial Day, President Trump and Vice President Pence went to Arlington to spend time with families visiting graves of their loved ones. There were Gold Star families there, as well as shipmates and battle buddies of the fallen. And then, after Trump and Pence turned to leave, another unhinged victim of TDS flipped the finger at them. Behind their backs, no less.

Why? Because her brother was buried there. And somehow the President is responsible for that?

Dear readers, we all understand that not everyone likes this President. In fact, your humble writer didn’t even vote for him (and no, I didn’t vote for Hillary). But you also respect the office of the Presidency, even if you may not always agree with its occupant. And that means you don’t do stupid, immature things like trying to cut into his motorcade, and then spew expletives when you’re arrested for being a threat to the President. But I guess that’s what happens when Trump Derangement Syndrome strikes. Don’t let it happen to your loved ones.
