Texans cheer on Dubya

I really, really miss President George W. Bush. I didn’t agree with him 100% of the time, but he was a good president.

Anyway, here he is throwing out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game. He throws a helluva good pitch, and then signs the baseball. Nice guy.

And the crowd was cheering for him the entire time.

Wonder what their reaction would be to Obama.

  • Obama’s fav team is the Chicago White Sox which figures since the manager Ozzie Guillen and outfielder Magglio Ordonez are both hard core Chavistas.

Isn’t there a song that has “God Bless TEXAS” in it….LOL

As time goes by President Bush’s legacy will rise as America will see what LEADERSHIP or LACK OF really means………

I am truly interested in what criteria you use to establish what a “good” president is?

  • Steve says:

If you really miss President Bush, why do you use the left-wing, Bush-hater term, Dubya?

Part of the liberal agenda is language, so don’t get sucked into it…

    Keep pitching, George!
Can’t wait for your book. don’t hold back and let the Democrats have it for all the trouble they’ve caused and all the lies they’ve told.

  • Steve says:

To Betty Malone. Are you intimating that Bush was not a good president?

You’re alive and free instead of being dead or living in an Islamic state.

Not one attack since 9/11 on American soil. Not one.

I think that qualifies as just good, huh?

If I ever get to throw a first pitch it will be knuckle ball low and away…

Nice pitch, mine wouldn’t have been that good but certainly better than Biden’s -just a bit outside. And btw Hannah Montana? C’mon hehe

  • John Moore says:

Much better than Senator Ted Kennedy, who threw (and rolled) out the first pitch for the Boston Red Sox v.s. Tampa Bay Devil Rays game.

  • AverageJoe says:

I think President Bush was a good man. He had strong convictions and wasn’t swayed as much by the polls. However, I don’t think he was a good president. He campaigned on states rights, small government and no nation building. What he did was give us the Patriot Act, increased the size and scope of government, increased federal control and we’ve been nation building in Iraq for how many years now?

The republican party needs to get back to the basics. Until they do, Americans in the middle will see only left leaning authoritarian Democrats and right leaning authoritarian Republicans with the emphasis on authoritarian and neither being that palatable.

  • George W Bush = WPOAT (Worst President of All Time)!
