Hillary Clinton Singing a New Tune After Trump Dossier News

“What a difference a day made. Twenty-four little hours brought the sun and the flowers where there used to be rain.” These words are from a tune written in 1959 and made popular by blues singer, the late Dinah Washington. As soon as I saw the ABC News video of Hillary Clinton from last night, this tune popped into my little pea pickin’ brain.

Remember the news that has broken, as if you could forget. The Washington Post reported two days ago:

The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.

And, then last night on ABC World News Tonight:

Hillary Clinton goes in to the old song and dance, but she just cannot manage a pivot step without looking clumsy. One would think that after nearly 50 years on the world stage, Mrs. Clinton would have developed the poise and grace of, say, that old liar, Senator Dianne Feinstein. One would be very wrong. Yes, nearly 50 years on the world stage. Hillary was profiled in 1969 as a Wellesley College graduate in Life Magazine.
