Shortly after six this morning, shots rang out in a Harrisburg, PA neighborhood just a few miles from the capitol. A U. S. Marshals Service task force attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Shayla Lynette Towles Pierce, wanted by Harrisburg police on a terroristic threat charge, had come under fire. When the smoke cleared, Christopher D. Hill, an 11-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals Service, was dead. Also dead was an as-of-yet-unidentified male alleged to have been the shooter.
