Summer Camp 2018: Churning Out The Next Generation of Antifa

The lazy, hazy crazy days of summer are upon us and some of us parents are scrambling to keep kiddos busy and out of trouble. Of course, this is a mission liberal parents don’t take lightly.

Enter Camp Kinderland…also known as “Camp Commie” where children can spend the summer learning about how to be good little Commies:

Camp Kinderland has been dubbed as the “summer camp with a conscience”. They’re so conscientious, they made Antifa signs:

Wondering who Mark Bray is? Try a Dartmouth (of course) lecturer who is the author of “Antifa: An Anti-Fascist Handbook” . Bray is also currently writing the introduction to an antifa comic. Yay.

From Camp Kinderland’s Mission Statement and Values:

We envision a world where all people live in peace, with economic, racial, and social justice; where children thrive in inclusive, nurturing communities that honor their individual strengths and promote collective responsibility.

Side note: My son arrived home from church camp yesterday. He had a blast with his friends, made new ones, got to kayak, did slip and slide soccer, had a dance off and a rap battle and didn’t shower for three days. I can hear the likes of the left now…we sent our son to camp to be “brainwashed” because they did do devotions and worship (oh, how they luuurrrve to throw this in there whenever Christianity is involved). Whatever. Enough about me.

Let’s take a trip to Tolland, Massachusetts to Camp Kinderland. How much does it cost parent to send their children to Camp Kinderland? Anywhere between $2,000 and $6,000 dollars an offspring, depending on how many sessions they attend. Here we have grown adults and camp counselors promoting “nurturing communities”, promoting “collective responsibility” all while promoting a mostly violent domestic terrorist organization such as Antifa.

In a word…WOW.

Perhaps the Kinderland crew can do another craft session where they can make flags for Hamas or Al-Qaeda? I mean, they want to be inclusive, right? And after a GMO-free, gluten-free, red dye 40-free, organic vegetarian lunch, these precious little SJWs-in-the-making can take advantage of other camp activities like trash can rolling or learning how to wield a baseball bat. For an extra charge, the parents can enroll their precious little lambs in a special class on swinging bike locks. Camp counselors can encourage young minds in a game of the middle-finger-to-the-corporate-man olympics and school them on when it is okay to bully their facist, conservative-leaning friends and their family members.

Here are few thoughts for parents of the next generation of community organizers and protestors. Want to promote peace? Perhaps glorifying an organization that smashes people’s skulls with bike locks is not an organization worth promoting. Want to thrive in an inclusive community? Try venturing out of the suburban, college-educated bubbles you all live in. Try, for but a moment as adults to not pass judgement right off the bat on those whose ideologies differ from your own. Yes-this means honoring the beliefs of others-religious, political or otherwise and teaching your kids to have mature discussions and if the time comes, to agree to disagree and move the heck on without hurling canned insults. Want to honor the individual strengths of your child, nurture communities and promote “collective responsibility”? Want to teach kids to have a conscience? While I feel that ultimately, teaching these is mainly the job of us as parental units, if they must send them to camp to learn about this stuff perhaps it’s time to push the red and black Antifa posterboard and peace signs (such a contradiction, by the way) aside and visit the inner cities to see how the other half lives. Then, perhaps, they can have conversations with the (often) democratic and (sometimes) very liberal leadership of said cities to come up with solutions that work. Or perhaps, for a portion of camp fees, the camp can host a meal night for families less fortunate at a local community center or a clothing drive, a school supply drive or even host a car wash to collect funds for a needy family. Want them to “organize”? Have the kids organize the event. All of these events cost less to organize than the $1,000-per-week price tag for camp and guess what…all actually nurture the communities.

But the left does not want this. Heaven forbid the so-called socially-concious-all-embracing-and-tolerant-except-for-those-who-voted-for-Trump come up with a solution that takes away from the narrative that has been dictated to them and actually DO something USEFUL. And heaven forbid they teach their kids to think critically and put political agendas aside for a moment to focus on the issue of humanity. Nope, they said. Just be good little liberals, nod your heads and go back to arts and crafts like black face mask painting and paint-by-numbers canvas sessions offering a homage to great dictators like Pol Pot and Fidel Castro. If you listen and agree, we’ll give you some s’mores at the flag burning tonight.

“A system can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive “treason” from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. The “traitor” moves amongst those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself, for the “traitor” appears not a “traitor” ? He speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a system, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of its nations, he infects the body politics so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. Beware, beware, beware…” — Marcus Tullius Cicero 42 B.C

Their thought leader is 8? Sounds right.

    they made Antifa signs
Never forget that “Antifa” is communist. They go all the way back to the black-shirts of 1929. Same flag logo, same black outfits, same raised, clenched fist.

Anywhere between $2,000 and $6,000 dollars an offspring
Because those advocating for communism fall into two groups, mostly: those for whom anything would be better than now, and those who will not suffer (or think they won’t suffer) the harm of their ideas.

come up with solutions that work
There is no “solution”. This is the problem with progressives – they don’t understand that. They believe that with the right amount of money/indoctrination/technology/regulation/laws we can have heaven on earth. But it won’t happen – because Humans.
The best you can do is love those around you, help when you can, encourage others to help when they can, and take care of each person as an individual. Which the gov’t cannot do.
You won’t ever eliminate poverty, or disease, or crime, or racism, or trash, or any other of the crusades which progressives generate. But, in the process of trying, you are likely to generate lots of misery and reduce overall prosperity.

Shouldn’t the good little communists running this re-education camp foot for the bill for this? Charging admission is capitalistic, and we can’t have that!

Looking at the ”art work” particularly the pairs of S-like symbols on the table in the top picture I was immediately reminded of the runic symbol – ” doppelte Siegrune” [double Victory symbol] – adopted by the Schutzstaffel [SS] the elite unit charged with protecting Hitler:

The thuggish behaviour of Antifa gangs is typical of the more primitive SA whose leadership had aspirations of attaining political power – until the Night of the Long Knives when the SA was destroyed at Hitler’s orders by the SS. It’s also of interest that the SS wore black uniforms just as do the modern, so-called, Anti-Fascists.
