She’s Back: Green Partier Jill Stein Wants DOJ to Investigate “Integrity” of Electoral System

While Barack Obama is busy undermining both the legitimacy of his successor and democracy itself, while passively-aggressively attacking Israel via the corrupt UN, nutty Green Partier, Jill Stein, continues pummeling our voting process. So what’s her newest target? Well, the electoral system itself, of course, and how utterly corrupt and fraudulent it is, that is according to Dr. Jill-turned-activist. While we were busy celebrating Christmas, Stein was doing this:

Jill Stein is asking the Justice Department to investigate the “integrity” of the U.S. electoral system to address “grave concerns” that arose from the Green Party’s recount push in three swing states.

In a letter addressed to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Stein’s attorney wrote Friday of the “susceptibility to malicious interference and poor performance” found in voting machines in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania — three states won by Republican Donald Trump.

The letter cites “cyber vulnerabilities” as a major concern, and criticizes FBI Director James Comey for falsely indicating to Congress that mass corruption of voting machines can’t happen because they are not connected to the Internet. Stein’s lawyer wrote that the administrator of the Wisconsin Elections Commission testified under oath that some voting machines connect to the Internet. The letter also warns that some voting machines that are not connected to the Internet, were connected to others that were, which could pose a cybersecurity risk.

Further, the not-so-green Ms. Stein insists that we move—by force of the federal government, perchance?—to paper ballots exclusively in all fifty states:

“The attempted recount process has uncovered that voting machines relied on in these states and across the country are prone to human and machine error, especially in under-resourced black and brown communities, and vulnerable to tampering and hacking,” the letter reads. “The recount also found that the states’ efforts to protect their systems may be insufficient, particularly in low-income communities and communities of color. Each of these grave concerns warrants federal intervention.”

Human error was also uncovered in the recount process, the letter claims.

Human error. Is that Jill Speak for “Democrat voter fraud?”

Snicker.

And while this latest scheme sounds like something most of us would, and should, laugh off, Barack Obama’s politicized DOJ, under Eric Holder and now Bill Clinton’s Tarmac Bestie, Loretta Lynch, is known for its partisan bias. You may recall these two gems, from Barack Obama’s first election, attempting to intimidate voters in Philadelphia:

Neither of these “gentleman” was ever held responsible. And the silence Lynch and the DOJ have exhibited in the face of reports of harassment and death threats of electors this election cycle…

Electors around the country are being harassed with a barrage of emails, phone calls and letters — and even death threats — in an effort to block Donald Trump from being voted in as president by the Electoral College…

Reports of GOP electors being badgered have been reported in numerous states, including Georgia, Idaho, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah and Michigan.

shouts volumes. So it’s well within the realm of possibility that Lynch and the DOJ would jump on the Delegitimize Trump Train in an effort to assist Captain Vindictive in throwing up roadblocks anywhere they can to thwart the incoming administration. And we have the relentless, limelight-seeking, loony Jill Stein to thank for the continued frontal assault on our electoral system. But perhaps, just maybe, it’s Ms. Stein whom the DOJ should investigate:

After weeks and weeks of continuous attacks on our voting process, like a bad case of the swine flu, it’s time for Dr. Green Party to just go away. Not only has she tried to bastardize our 2016 election, and the law, with her unsubstantiated accusations of “hacked” voting machines and recount demands in states where she had no standing, she’s made a mockery of her own party in the meantime. The good news is: in 2020, Jill Stein—who essentially ripped-off naïve recount donors by preying on their implausible hope—will have no reputable voice. And that is something we can all look forward to. In the meantime, perhaps loony Jill Stein should take up residence next to the local Cannabis Cafe somewhere in Colorado. Because she’d fit right in.

This is what freedom sounds like.
The ability for any nutbar to run around screaming while the rest of us tap the sides of our heads with our fingers and roll our eyes.
Speaking of the partisan, weaponized DOJ (and IRS while we’re at it) – I’m sure their bad apples will enjoy their next three weeks’ employment. I suspect the majority of these organizations will straighten up and fly right once President Trump is officially in office – remember back when Reagan was being sworn in and the Iranians couldn’t fly the hostages out fast enough.

I actually sort of agree with her. Electronic voting machines are set up in thoroughly inappropriate ways, providing little accountability to the voter and allowing tampering through remote access.

I think we should return to paper ballots as a check on the electronics. Personally, I would prefer a screen that allows you to touch vote (much easier to apply vision aids for those who are impaired), which then prints out your vote (and a unique code based on the machine and a time stamp – also recorded in the machine). You can then check that the two match. Then you deposit your paper ballot in a reader which records the vote electronically (including the unique code). Each electronic vote count is downloaded to a removable drive with a hashed file, which is sneaker-netted to a reporting computer. The paper votes are sealed up for any recount (and the seal is recorded in the reader vote count file). So, you have two secure files, with identical information in them, checkable against a paper ballot if necessary.

Oh, and voter photo ID is required. I’m amenable to the purple finger thing, too.

Those are all great ideas. It’s just that I think this woman is a fraud. I trust her motivations about as much as I do the outgoing admin, including Loretta Lynch investigating anything with objectivity and integrity.

In the future, the EC is the only way concervaties will be able to win. Liberal CA can overcome 7 or 8 small conservative states bassed on population.
