Post-Birth Abortion Support on the Rise on College Campuses

According to The College Fix, post-birth abortion support is on the rise on campuses across the United States. These fanatical pro-aborts are so extreme that they openly support the murder of children up to age five – at which age children magically transform into “real humans” because they are “self aware”.

Mairead Mcardle, a Thomas Aquinas College student, writes,

“Anecdotal evidence by leaders of prolife groups such as Created Equal and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust said in interviews that not only do they see more college students willing to say they support post-birth abortion, but some students even suggest children up to 4 or 5-years-old can also be killed, because they are not yet ‘self aware.’”

Kristina Garza, a spokeswoman for Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, asserts that the reason college students are embracing this radical ideology is because they have long been forced to read the writings of Peter Singer and other philosophers that support infanticide. In 1979, Singer wrote,

“Human babies are not born self-aware, or capable of grasping that they exist over time. They are not persons … [therefore] the life of a newborn is of less value than the life of a pig, a dog, or a chimpanzee.”

Is it any wonder that college students are beginning to embrace infanticide when their professors are assigning the writings of such rabid pro-abortion fanatics? Garza said,

“When he [Singer] said this stuff, there was a very select few who accepted it. But nowadays, we have become so desensitized, and college students lacking in a moral fiber easily accept this kind of strange ideology.”

While many students are embracing a firm prolife stance because of the work that anti-abortion groups are doing on campuses nationwide, there is still resolute opposition to prolife ideology. Support for post-birth abortion -or as the rest of us call it murder– has been encountered at Purdue, the University of Minnesota, the University of Central Florida, and THE Ohio State University.

After a video surfaced of a woman defending infanticide in front of a pro-life display, Devin Deitsch, leader of VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood at Ohio State University, said this in an email to The College Fix:

“As for post-birth abortion, I would imagine that my colleagues would think the ‘post-birth’ part was largely irrelevant, as we believe very strongly in abortion on demand, without apology, and it’s plain and simple that we should look to the woman’s morals and not shove our opinions where they, frankly, don’t belong. Speaking as the primary leader of VOX, I assure you we are very pro-choice. We are not here to advocate for women to get abortions, we advocate for her ability to make that choice without fear, heckling, or barriers. Essentially, we ask for a woman (and her body) to be respected. Nothing more, nothing less.”

Well, they “ask for a woman to be respected” unless she is under the age of five… in which case they would probably support her murder because she isn’t “self aware” yet.

I can wholeheartedly say the same for all crackpot Lefties like Peter Singer at any age. May we please abort THEM so that we can have at least a little sanity in this nation?

Every day I see stories like this one and think I’m starring in some insane episode of The Twilight Zone-only the 30 minutes has dragged out for years and decades with no end in sight.

It is a sad day that we live in when we believe it is okay to kill a child up to age five, but we will spends thousands of dollars to quarantine an “ebola dog”. I love my pets, I do, but I think we have made a mistake humanizing our animals, and dehumanizing our children. My kids will ALWAYS mean more to me than my dogs.

The world is indeed warped. I find this site ironic at times-the WW2 motif seems like it was from a million years ago or from some other planet. But then again I’m sure the site creators intended to illustrate how far the nation has changed in less than 80 years-a change for the worse.

Apparently a person is not fully capable of understanding the consequences of one’s actions until about the age of 25, as the brain is still developing. Perhaps we could post-birth abort these idiots since they aren’t fully developed people either.

For the Left they seemingly never develop mentally at any age. George Soros could live to be 1000 and he’d still bankroll every crackpot imaginable. Some do develop, like David Horowitz, but far too many never make that leap.

Forget Godwin’s Law, this is “Modest Proposal” territory.

So many levels of cracked-pottery here that the landscape is filled with the shattered shards of failed attempts to actually apply rational thought to the whole topic.

“A woman’s body” — Bull=loney on that one. The fetus (that’s another term for unborn human being) is not part of the woman’s body, but a genetically unique life growing within the (increasingly tenuous) protection of a woman’s body. As with many other things, the core issue is not about freedom of choice but freedom from the results of a previous choice that is now proving to personally inconvenient.

Also, raise generations (in the way they should go) to believe they personally are nothing but a random collection of atoms, equal to the lowliest of animals with no intrinsic worth (yet, strangely, imbued with stratospheric levels of self-esteem) and who are not free moral agents but merely the by-product of animal instincts and lusts (and chemical reactions) that drive their behavior. With all of that, people then channel Capt. Renault of “Casablanca” and wail that they are shocked (shocked I tell you!) that these little snowflakes (and adult flakes as well) treat others not as valuable human beings, but merely candidates for extermination if they impede the self-centered pursuit of personal pleasure (falsely equated with happiness) of these flakes off the old block.

Sow the wind and express bewilderment at the resulting whirlwind.

Read the headline twice and couldn’t figure out what it meant. Now I can’t un-see it.
