(Disclaimer) To be very honest, I am beyond peeved with Obamacare right now. I just lost my healthcare plan for the second time in six months. My husband and I work from home and pay for our own insurance. We had the same plan through Humana for nine years. We were grandfathered in under Obamacare, at first. We got notified that our plan would no longer be available as of September 30. We shopped a new plan under Blue Cross Blue Shield and BCBS pulled out of Tennessee (big cities) a month later. I am steaming.

Last night, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel appeared with Megan Kelly to tell us all that Obamacare is great, is working and has fixed everything. The only problems are Senator Marco Rubio and those evil Republicans. Hint: Every time you hear the word adjustment, think MORE TAX DOLLARS from you.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is a typical government planner type. All these plans would work if you never ran out of “Other Peoples’ Money” aka OPM. Marco Rubio and the evil Republicans shortchanged the plan on funding. There just wasn’t enough funding. There wasn’t enough OPM.

Don’t forget one of the other architects of Obamacare…Dr. Jonathan Gruber, economist.

Yes. Both Dr. Emanuel and Dr. Gruber are smarmy, nasty pieces of work. The elitist mentality on full view for your elucidation. Hillary Clinton shows her disdain for those who disagree with her by putting us in a “Basket of Deplorables” or calling the young folk “Basement Dwellers”. President Barack Obama showed his contempt for the general American populace with his “Bitter, clinger” quote“:

You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

This elitist contempt for the average American is on full display in these statements. It is also on display in the rise of Donald Trump. He doesn’t hate the average American. He loves the average American and America.

There are those of us who believe Obamacare was designed to fail. Dr. Jeffrey Burke wrote in The Hill:

But liberals never backed down from the radical healthcare dreams that were dashed by the American people in 2010. They simply needed to bide their time and lay the groundwork.

That’s why they rushed to pass ObamaCare with so little debate, and without a single Republican vote. Its authors purposely designed the law so that it would fail. And when it did, they could return to the American people with the promise that even greater government intervention in healthcare could end the ObamaCare nightmare. I believe that was the real meaning of then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s comment that we needed to “pass (ObamaCare) to find out what’s in it.”

Sure enough, look at what’s happening now.

I think Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel was an elitist dupe or “useful idiot”. That is why he was still defending Obamacare on Megyn Kelly last night. He is a true believer. If only the average American would sit down, shut up and pay her taxes, Obamacare will work with enough OPM.

Hillary Clinton loves government planning. More and more government planning. Hall monitor Hillary wants to dictate every inch of your life. If Hillary wins, #NeverHillary, we are doomed.

Meanwhile, I am off to try to get a plan. Unfortunately, I don’t have OPM. And, I am really steamed.
