Meet The Vogue Fashion Editor Who Slammed Melania Trump’s Stilettos [VIDEO]

The media and the fashion world had to find something, ANYTHING to rip Trump on regarding his trip to Texas. Since some in the media admitted the crowds specifically turned out in Corpus Christi to see and thank President Trump for coming;

they had to find something else to whine about. Hence, SHOEGATE!!

I kid you not; the reaction to Melania Trump wearing heels as she left the White House for the trip south was one for the record books.

Yes, Vogue, definitely NOT a fan of either Melania or President Trump, jumped on the Fashion Police bandwagon with this supreme whine fest:

Melania Trump’s Hurricane Stilettos, and the White House’s Continual Failure to Understand Optics

The author, Vogue Fashion editor Lynn Yaeger, said this in her short little diatribe:

This morning, Mrs. Trump boarded Air Force One wearing a pair of towering pointy-toed snakeskin heels better suited to a shopping afternoon on Madison Avenue or a girls’ luncheon at La Grenouille.

While the nation is riveted by images of thousands of Texans wading with their possessions, their pets, their kids, in chest-high water, desperately seeking refuge; while a government official recommend that those who insist on sheltering in place write their names and social security numbers on their arms, Melania Trump is heading to visit them in footwear that is a challenge to walk in on dry land.

First of all, I couldn’t care less what kind of footwear Melania Trump wore. Secondly, everyone including Lynn went full-on Derpasaurus regarding her shoes and is hoping we ignore the fact that those stilettos WEREN’T the shoes she wore to Corpus Christi and Austin!

Oops.

So who is this queen of fashion for Vogue? Who is this “fashion professional” who raked Melania over the coals? Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to Lynn Yaeger.

I know, I know. I probably should’ve warned our readers. But well…sharing is caring!

Lynn wonders what kind of message Melania has sent by wearing sky-high stilettos to view hurricane damage. She also wonders why the administration can’t get anything right, including shoes.

This from a woman whose outfits look like they mated with a parrot, badly. Either that or she really does like dressing like an expensive bag lady.

Needless to say, in this instance, Melania Trump is very much a Fashion DO, while Lynn Yaeger is a massive Fashion DON’T that must be accessorized with a strong helping of eye bleach.

OMG! I’m dying here! Seriously, that hag is a hobo. There’s a similar looking creature living on the lawn of a local church here, but she may have better taste than this walking heinoceros fashion faux pas!

ProTip: Don’t criticize others until you look in a mirror.

  • Johnny says:

Maybe it’s a guy thing, but Capri pants and stilettos when going to a wet place almost makes sense…

Here’s a mental image – take the side-by-side you have above of Melania Trump and Lynn Yaeger and imagine them swapping outfits – our First Lady would still look incredible and Ms. Yaeger would…well…’nuff said.

  • jacmo says:

No wonder Vogue is so out of touch with fashion these days.

  • Mrs.M says:

She’s a worn out dumpster diving Kewpie doll who got dressed in the dark after a full bottle of vodka.

  • SFC D says:

If I saw that raggedy matryoshka doll on the street, I’d offer her a ride to the nearest shelter

  • Carolyn Tisch says:

I thought these pictures of Ms. Yaeger were
a joke, who would willingly look like this and think it was normal? Much less be considered a maven of fashion. I searched for other photos (and also found videos) and this lady is real!
My apologies to the Victory Girls for doubting the veracity of the photos.

  • Oklahoma Lady says:

ROTFLMAO, LOL! Thank you for the laughs, absolutely hysterically funny.

  • GWB says:

wearing these stilettos in this moment sends one hell of a message

Ummm, no. No, it doesn’t. Your fashion fetish does not translate to everyone else in the universe. And, yes, you should see a therapist about that – preferably one that doesn’t wear heels.

    • Dave says:

Spot on. These lunatics who have a liberal platform just get loonier by the day.

And this mother of Chucky fashion editor needs to equate fashion with charity – both start at home. Ewwwww.

  • Chris in N.Va says:

Brings flashbacks of the Mimi character from the old Drew Carey show….

….except Mimi outclasses this ersatz Ms. Potato Head cobbled together from left over parts.

  • Susan says:

Somebody please, offer to restyle her…..and take away her privileges to be a fashion commentator/editor. If she represents Vogue, I want no part of it!
