Lawsuit Filed Against Fetal Tissue Companies After Undercover Videos [VIDEO]

Everyone should remember the Center for Medical Progress’s stand against Planned Parenthood and their devastating undercover video series documenting how Planned Parenthood arranged to have fetal tissue and organs sold to research labs.

Victory Girls covered those videos extensively when they were first released.

These videos triggered first an “apology” from Cecile Richards (while claiming that the videos were “heavily edited”):

… and then an official change on Planned Parenthood’s “tissue donation” policy (all baby parts are FREE now!), and then a lawsuit against the Center for Medical Progress. And then, the Center for Medical Progress’s David Daleiden was indicted in Texas in one of the craziest grand jury witch hunts ever. Eventually, all charges were dropped.

But if you thought this was over, heck no. Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit is still ongoing, as a judge ruled in early October that the suit could proceed.

Planned Parenthood may want to rethink that, in light of what the Orange County (CA) district attorney decided to do this week.

The District Attorney’s Office of Orange County, California, has filed a lawsuit accusing two medical firms with ties to Planned Parenthood of profiting illicitly from the sale of human body parts from abortions.

The lawsuit filed Tuesday names DaVinci Biosciences and sister company DV Biologics, both of whom were mentioned in the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) undercover video investigation accusing the nation’s largest abortion provider of profiting from the sale of human body parts from abortions. Planned Parenthood has denied the allegation.

District Attorney Tony Rackauckus said at a Wednesday press conference that the legal action was motivated by neither political nor moral questions surrounding the issue of abortion.
“This case is not about whether it should be lawful to sell fetal parts or whether fetal tissue research is ethical or legal,” Mr. Rackauckus said. “This lawsuit is aimed at taking the profit out of selling body parts.”

The lawsuit alleges the companies impermissibly profited from at least 500 transactions between 2012 and 2015, overcharging for shipping and processing while generating $1.5 million in revenue directly from the sale of fetal tissue between 2013 and 2015.

Wait a minute…. but but but Cecile Richards herself said these videos were edited to make everyone look bad!!!

David Daleiden commented on the CMP’s website:

The wheels of justice are beginning to turn against Planned Parenthood and their corrupt business partners in the illicit trade in aborted baby body parts. Planned Parenthood is not above the law, and law enforcement and elected representatives everywhere must now hold Planned Parenthood accountable for their barbaric profiteering off of pregnant women and the body parts of their aborted children.

Planned Parenthood declined to comment on the case, per the Los Angeles Times, because they are not named in the suit – though they are named as the supplier of tissues and organs for the two companies named in the suit. If this suit proceeds, and these companies turn on Planned Parenthood in hopes of cutting themselves a deal with the district attorney?

In the words of David Daleiden, “game on.”
