The media breathlessly reported, He’s HERE! when James Comey walked in the door.
Comey started talking. And the surprises started rolling in.
With 1/3 of Comey’s testimony under way, the bar drinking watch parties came to a screeching halt as even those who aren’t fans of Trump realized all the ‘there there gotcha’s’ were nothing but smoke and mirrors.
So we learned that neither the Russians nor @nytimes succeeded in fixing the election. We know they both tried, however…

Those are just two of the many examples. By the way, the NY Times has dug in their heels and will defend to the death their Feb 14th baseless anonymous source story. Another item to note is that many in the media are completely and totally applauding Comey for leaking information from his memos to the public!
In fact, many are comparing Comey’s leaks with those who admire Manning, Snowden, and even Reality Winner for their “whistleblowing” efforts. However:
A. What they both did wasn’t wasn’t whistleblowing at all.
B. It was theft on Winner’s part.
C. Comey acted as he did because he was angry and wanted to cover his butt
Speaking of Reality Winner.
She was denied bail yesterday because she had also downloaded info from a classified computer onto a thumb drive while in the Air Force. Said thumb drive is still missing. Not only that, her fascination with terrorism and the Middle East along with a desire to burn down the White House was more than troubling to the judge. Her “defense” is well, interesting.
Reality Winner told her mom to say, in arranged press interviews ,that she feared for her life and that: you have to play that angle

What was the difference between what James Comey did and what Reality Winner did? Nothing. Not. One. Thing.
Sure, the methodology was different, but the end result was the same. Information was stolen, and information that should remain private and/or highly classified was made public for the SOLE purpose of undermining an administration, and a President that neither of them liked. The media is willingly applauding James Comey and trying their damnedest to ignore what Reality Winner has done.
The media and left also want us to ignore the fact that their Trump Russia! narrative was shot full of holes yesterday.
But with Comey’s repeated and emphatic testimony that Trump was not under investigation, we have some new revisionist history: wildly backtracking liberals and Democrats claiming that nobody ever said Trump was under FBI investigation.
National Review’s Dan McLaughlin helpfully provides links to the many articles and commentary from the media and Democrats who proclaimed for MONTHS! that President Trump was under investigation and facing impeachment. Oh, but that was then folks.
The actions of both are completely inexcusable. Comey needs to be yanked in front of a grand jury ASAP and Winner should face years of jail time. The fact that Democrats and the media want to give Comey a pass while trying to ignore Winner is a classic example of Pot. Kettle. The media has their narrative and will run it into the ground no matter how foolish and stupid they look.

Meh. Comey’s leaked memo was one he wrote, and wasn’t classified at all. His leaking was just a way of getting “his side of the story” out there without his smug face attached to it.
OTOH, Winner should be in a dark hole under Leavenworth, until she is past child-bearing age. Living on bread and water and whatever protein she can catch to supplement.
