It’s Crunch Time for the Democrats and Joe Biden

As it becomes increasingly clear to the Democrats that Hillary is an unlikable candidate because she has zero genuine personality, is a liar, and is in hot water with the email/server lawlessness, they are beginning to scramble for a candidate that people want to vote for. That candidate isn’t Bernie Sanders because they know most Americans won’t truly vote for a man who says he wants to take all of their hard earned money. I’m truly sensing some barely restrained panic in their midst, and I am interested to see how it all plays out.

The Vice President is on vacation on Kiawah Island off of the coast South Carolina this week, but on Wednesday he reportedly called some outspoken supporters to toss the question of the possibility of his third presidential run. In an hour long conversation with the former chairman of the South Carolina Democrat Party, Richard A. Harpootlian, Biden didn’t reveal which way he was leaning on the topic, but he did encourage supporters to start laying the groundwork for a possible run.

The “Draft Biden” movement has moved into a far more aggressive stage that has the group contacting Democratic insiders across the country on a multitude of fronts. The topics range from how to establish a presence at the Iowa State Fair this week to which donors and officials need to be contacted in South Carolina.

“The vice president brings a different voice in,” said Tony Bisignano, an Iowa state senator and long time Biden supprter. “If you’re a liberal, you’ve got to like Bernie’s message. But I don’t think enough people that like his message have full confidence he can be elected. And Hillary obviously has a very strong organization here. But people are very apprehensive about her because they always feel like there’s a shoe to drop.”

What he is saying is this: Liberals love socialist Bernie Sanders, but they don’t think he can get elected because there aren’t enough nutjob progressives in this country who will actually vote for a guy who clearly, concisely, and frequently acknowledges that he is a socialist, and wants to force his views on the rest of us. And, Hillary is a liar – which we on the Right have known for years.

Others in the Democrat party don’t think Hillary can win because she’s boring. It only took them since 1992 to figure that out. I think I could have a more exciting conversation with my kitchen cabinets than I could have with Mrs. Clinton. She’s THAT unexciting, and people aren’t enthused about her candidacy at all.

And, don’t forget that the Democrats have kicked around the idea of another Al Gore presidential run. After all, with his views on race, economics, and the environment, he is their dream candidate.

If Donald Trump weren’t muddying up the Republican race for the White House, I would truly think the Democrats frenzy to find a better candidate was hilarious, and I would be enjoying it immensely. As we have our own issues with The Donald’s progressive tendencies, I can’t fully enjoy their barely disguised hysteria.
