Hawaii Has False Ballistic Missile Alert — Hey, Let’s Blame Trump! [VIDEO]

I don’t know how many people in Hawaii are religious, but I’ll bet a lot of folks there were praying on Saturday. In case you missed it, a false ballistic missile alert went out to Hawaiian residents. It was quite frightening.

Naturally, everyone looked to North Korea. Did Kim Jong-Un finally push that button on his desk?

Thankfully not. But it didn’t take long for liberals to start the Blame Game. And, of course, the blame fell on President Trump.

Trump, of course, had nothing to do with the false alarm. He was playing golf in Florida, which caused actual relief for a former Obama defense official who tweeted “Thank God the President was playing golf.”

However, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-naturally) blamed the President for not being firm enough with North Korea.

Even though three days earlier she said he was too tough:

So which is it, Tulsi? Is Trump too tough or too weak-kneed? Or do you just want to make political hay out of a very scary situation?

I think we know the answer to that one.

And then there was Obama’s former UN Secretary, Samantha Power. She longed for the good old days of peace and quiet. You know, when the Obama administration slashed missile defense, and thought if no one talked about it, nothing bad would ever happen.

Uh, no.

But of course the most harebrained comments came from Hollywood.

Like Jim Carrey, who must have been reprising his role from Dumb and Dumber. Which makes me wonder. . . is Carrey Dumb? Or Dumber?

Whatever, this tweet from Carrey is completely Dumbass.

A psychic warning? What the hell is a psychic warning? You mean like this?

Does Jim Carrey even know what the word psychic means?

I’ll take “no” for $50, Alex.

And then there was Jamie Lee Curtis ranting IN CAPS to the President that YOU DID THIS! This Hawaii “missle” scare is on YOU!  Dear Jamie was so flustered she couldn’t even spell the word “missile” correctly.

No, you twit, shouldn’t you be blaming, um, North Korea? And not the President? Besides, the error came from Hawaii’s Emergency Management Agency. A state employee hit a wrong button during a shift change. A state employee from a Democrat-run state.

Oh, Jamie, bless your heart.

But, the Hawaii missile scare over, the media went back to more urgent things. Like CNN did. They rounded up various lawmakers to find out whether or not President Trump really used the term “shithole countries.”

After all, it’s much more important to find out if Trump said “shithole” than to find out how to keep Kim Jong-Un from turning the U.S. into a huge nuclear shithole.

    Hollywood logic:
    1. Democrats control the government in Hawaii at the local, state and federal levels;
    2. A state level Hawaiian bureaucrat butt dials a false incoming missile attack alert, but, no one in that office can figure out how to send the Emily Latilla follow up “There’s no missile coming. That’s very different. Never mind.” for 38 minutes;
    3. President Trump is playing golf in Florida;
    4. QED: It’s all Trump’s fault.

    The Hollywood elite are consistent, in any case. Excellent post. Very funny 🙂

    I suspect a stoned slacker state employee pushed the warning switch.

    Someone was smoking Maui-wowee at work.

    At this point, I doubt a Nork missle could hit such a small target.
