Ferguson: Governor Declares State of Emergency Preceding Grand Jury Decision

Ferguson: Governor Declares State of Emergency Preceding Grand Jury Decision

Ferguson, Missouri is a powder keg. Deliberating evidence presented it in the August shooting of teenager Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, a grand jury is expected to release its decision on whether to indict Officer Wilson at any moment. In response to imminent threats of what may potentially be violent protests, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has declared a State of Emergency, and has called in Missouri’s National Guard to help keep the peace.

According to a news release, the role of the National Guard is to “…support law enforcement during any period of unrest that might occur following the grand jury’s decision concerning the investigation into the death of Michael Brown.”

“As part of our ongoing efforts to plan and be prepared for any contingency, it is necessary to have these resources in place in advance of any announcement of the grand jury’s decision,” Nixon said in the release.

Further:

  • Breitbart is reporting that “community organizers” are training prospective protesters on how to engage in “non-violent civil disobedience,” instructing “newly-minted” groups of individuals “about tactics relating to resisting police commands during demonstrations.” That sounds non-threatening, huh?
  • The Gateway Pundit has detailed a “target” list released by a group calling itself “Justice for Mike Brown.” What the group means by “target” is unclear. But use your imagination. It reads like a Who’s Who target list for Occupy Wall Street.

  • Meanwhile, gun sales in the Ferguson area have reportedly increased by about fifty percent. Good news, since it’s highly likely the “civil disobedience” crowd will be keeping police officers busy with their “non-violent” protests looting area businesses and attacking innocent civilians.
  • The day after the national midterm wipeout of the party he heads, Barack Obama, ever the objective observer, met with Head Race Baiter, Al Sharpton, and expressed his concern that the Ferguson Protests “stay on course.” It’s anyone’s guess what exactly that means. But he does have a habit of sticking his nose into local issues, and jumping to his own biased conclusions, which are typically critical of police.
  • Former FBI Assistant Director and Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund President Ron Hosko has delivered a blistering letter to Barack Obama detailing the devastating damage done to the law enforcement/DOJ relationship by Eric Holder in his six years as Attorney General. The letter accuses Eric Holder, the Right-Hand-Man of Barack Obama, of fanning the flames of discord in Ferguson. You can read the letter here.

Why would a sitting president and his DOJ want to incite rioting in Ferguson? Particularly now? Well, for starters, to wipe the now-infamous and damaging Gruber Tapes from the headlines. But perhaps more interestingly timed, to mask the imminent, lawless Executive Order likely to come this week awarding amnesty to as many as five million illegal aliens, which has the potential to further decimate an already-difficult job market, particularly in the Black and Hispanic communities. What better way to keep an extremely unpopular law, and an extremely unpopular, and un-Constitutional, executive action, out of the headlines? What better way to take the focus off the fact that the Obama Administration is causing irreparable damage to our country, while further dividing an already-divided nation? It’s Sal Alinsky 101.

Protester Staging a “Die-In”

Let’s hope the Grand Jury has the courage to do the right thing in Ferguson, based upon the evidence provided it, and not because of bullying by a biased lynch mob calling for “justice” based not on fact, but upon emotions and myths ginned-up by irresponsible race-baiters exploiting their fellow Americans, some of them being our very own elected officials. This is still America. And, despite its various faults, we still have the best justice system in the world.

So…hang on. Because regardless of the Grand Jury’s decision, things are likely about to explode in Ferguson. The Race Pimps have made sure of it. And any blood that is spilled will lie directly on their shoulders. Let’s hope and pray that the voices of those calling for peaceful protest, a fundamental right in our nation, are heeded.

Excellent timing Jodi. As always, well written. Let’s hope the powder keg doesn’t go off.

    • Jodi says:

Thank you! I hope so, too. Fingers crossed!

      • Nina says:

I hope the area doesn’t erupt. But I’m afraid it will. Both Ferguson and Clayton itself will be damaged, and those who don’t want to face the reality of “facts” and have encouraged the protests will have only themselves to blame.

This President is temperamentally unsuited to the office. He could be a calming influence on Ferguson but chooses not to be. The current US oil boom could positively rewrite the power relationships all around the world and give a tremendous boost to the economy. Too bad we don’t have a President to take advantage of that.

Quote “…more interestingly timed, to mask the imminent, lawless Executive Order likely to come this week awarding amnesty to as many as five million illegal aliens…” Nailed it. Which is why I can’t stop writing about it.

    • Jodi says:

Yep. He’ll release that illegal fiat on the very same day the Grand Jury releases its decision, and the riots commence. That’s my prediction.

  • Chris in N.Va. says:

Let’s see if we have this straight:
No indictment = riot, pillage, burn in protest
Indictment = riot, pillage, burn in partial celebration
Trial = riot, pillage, burn in protest
Trial + not-guilty = riot, pillage, burn in protest
Trial + guilty + no death penalty = riot, pillage, burn in protest
Trial + guilty + pending execution = riot, pillage, burn in partial celebration
Trial + execution = riot, pillage, burn in celebration

    Am I missing something?
