Donna Brazile finally admits to passing debate questions to Hillary Clinton

Well, well, well. The truth will out.

Donna Brazile, who famously denied giving debate questions to Hillary Clinton (who is #NotMyPresident), has now come clean. I’m sure this is probably because she’s such a good Christian woman, despite her public “persecution” by Megyn Kelly.

Do you remember when emails from Wikileaks revealed that Brazile had provided questions to Clinton for a townhall debate? Here she tries to deny to Kelly that she ever passed on debate questions. Brazile then floated like a butterfly to avoid the getting pinned down on the truth of the emails. But it was straight up bald faced lies. Disgusting.

Why a person like this even has space in the public forum is beyond me, but Brazile admitted her dirty deed in an op-ed for Time Magazine. The purpose of the piece was apparently to keep this Russian hacker story on life support as she devotes the first half to half-baked theories of Russian interference in the election.

For weeks now, we’ve seen a steady stream — not just leaks — of information about possible contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russians. This is after the F.B.I. and our intelligence community determined that Russia interfered in the United States election with the aim of electing Donald Trump president.

That’s right Donna, we’ve seen lots of information from anonymous sources, who on the one hand claim the Russians’ level of interference was so insidious that it turned the election, and we know this through some kind of intelligence gathering, but on the other hand deny that any surveillance was conducted against the Trump campaign. I’ll just say I am not satisfied that I know at all what happened with any of this, and so won’t be so quick to draw the same conclusions. Sort of how the truth about Brazile’s own leakage is finally being admitted by her. Sometimes it takes a while for the truth to be confirmed. That’s ok, we’ll wait.

Despite all the deeply troubling evidence, the White House continues to insist that “there’s no there there.”

Well, Donna ought to know about denials. That’s how she operates, but it doesn’t seem like she was able to outrun this one.

In light of all of this, you would think Republican leaders in Congress would put their country before politics and call for an impartial investigation.

These are some of my favorite kind of statements. This one is really hilarious – a Democrat saying an elected official ought to be concerned about her country first! That’s knee slapper Donna! Your words are nice, but your actions belie your truth.

But wait for it, here comes the the most delicious part.

When I was asked last July to step in temporarily as D.N.C. Chair, I knew things were amiss. The D.N.C. had been hacked, and thousands of staff emails and documents were plastered on various websites. Staff were harassed, morale suffered, and we lost weeks of planning. Donors were harassed, and fundraising fell off.

Aww. I do not feel sorry for you, cheater.

Then in October, a subsequent release of emails revealed that among the many things I did in my role as a Democratic operative and D.N.C. Vice Chair prior to assuming the interim D.N.C. Chair position was to share potential town hall topics with the Clinton campaign. I had been working behind the scenes to add more town hall events and debates to the primary calendar, and I helped ensure those events included diverse moderators and addressed topics vital to minority communities. My job was to make all our Democratic candidates look good, and I worked closely with both campaigns to make that happen. But sending those emails was a mistake I will forever regret.

Double awww. She was working so hard to right that sinking ship. She wants you to think this was just something any frazzled partisan would do, almost as if she wasn’t even conscious of her “mistake” (a.k.a, intentional misdeed!). Ok, phew. That’s enough of that. Now, back to those Russians.

By stealing all the DNC’s emails and then selectively releasing those few, the Russians made it look like I was in the tank for Secretary Clinton.

As if it took a rocket scientist to make that connection. The Russians are crafty.

Despite the strong, public support I received from top Sanders campaign aides in the wake of those leaks, the media narrative played out just as the Russians had hoped, leaving Sanders supporters understandably angry and sowing division in our ranks.

The Russians are coming! Those masters of deceit. Dastardly Ruskies.

But the damage was done. Politics has never been considered a clean sport, but 2016 marked a new low.

A new low, not because of her personal ethical failures, but because of those Russians.

The D.N.C., a political party committee dedicated in part to defending free and fair elections, was attacked by the Russians while the Republican nominee for president openly encouraged it.

“Dedicated in part to defending free and fair elections” – yeah a very small part, as in zero. That’s why Democrats like voter ID, because they are so interested in ensuring the fairness of elections.

This was not a Hollywood movie about rogue spies and super agents. This was real life.

Hollywood is ubiquitous in her circle, so I guess she ought know what that looks like. Unfortunately she doesn’t know what real life looks like.

Let me be clear: This is not just the price of politics. This is not normal. We cannot let this stand. Our democratic process itself was attacked and harmed, and all Americans should be concerned.

Hmm, we cannot let this stand? I guarantee this op-edwould have never existed if Hillary won. It sure would have been standing then. And how disingenuous does a person have to be to put in writing her concern for the democratic process when she herself took actions to circumvent the process. The hypocrisy is stunning.

There is still much we don’t know about the methods and specific objectives of the Russian government and others involved in these cyberattacks. Americans deserve to know what happened, and who knew what and when.

Well, finally we agree! Yes, Ms Brazile, Americans deserve to know the truth about a lot of things. How about we start with some more emails – like those dumped by Hillary, the woman who might have been, but thankfully is #NotMyPresident.

I thought it was Russians that tried to influence the media.

Wasn’t it the same leftist idiots that complained about McCarthy when he said that the country was infiltrated by the Russians, and did what he could to out the spies??? Why their sudden concern about Russians if it was no big deal back then???
