Remember Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal?

We thought you would. Now, here’s the latest news on that pesky little thing Mrs. Clinton and our current administration backing her wants us to just….wipe clean from our minds. According to this, archived comments unearthed by Reddit indicate that Paul Combetta — the tech specialist who deleted Hillary Clinton’s emails from her server — may have sought advice on the website for how to hide a certain “VIP’s” email address.

Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file. Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out.

I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort.

Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?-“stonetear”

The alias “stonetear”, according to Reddit, appears to be a username used by Paul Combetta of with Platte River Networks who ultimately deleted Clinton’s emails and reportedly has received immunity from the Justice Department. Other websites such as Etsy links a Paul Combetta to the name “stonetear,” created in 2011, while the email address stonetear@gmail.com is also linked to Combetta’s name.

The above Reddit message was deleted but archived by users and was sent by “stonetear” on July 23, 2014. The day before, the Benghazi Committee’s agreement with the State Department on the production of related records, according the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s use of the server. Combetta, pleading The Fifth last week, also known as “stonetear” began deleting his comments until Reddit users archived them.

While Clinton and longtime aide Cheryl Mills plead ignorance told the FBI that they had no knowledge of the technician’s deletion of the emails, Combetta, according to the report, “was aware of the existence of the [Benghazi Committee] preservation request and the fact that it meant he should not disturb Clinton’s email data on the [Platte River Networks] server. But, according to the FBI report, between March 25 and March 31 of 2015, the technician (Combetta) believed he had an “oh sh*t” moment and deleted the Clinton archive mailbox from the [Platte River Networks] server.” Enter BleachBit.

Nope. Move along, sheep. Nothing to see here. Just a bunch of Republicans out on a witch hunt against poor, little old, frail, innocent Hillary Clinton who apparently, is really obsessed with yoga. Looks like Combetta’s “oh sh*t” moment may come back to byte him. (See what I did there?)
