Chuck Schumer Slams Trump “#Twitter Presidency” [VIDEO]

Senator Chuck Schumer began his reign of terror as Senate Minority Leader by being just as small, venial and angrily partisan as the man he replaced, retired Senator Harry Reid. Opening day of the 115th Congress and Schumer went ugly (I mean that in the Southern sense of the word ugly). It was opening day. Senator Schumer played hard ball. The boy ain’t gonna win any awards for good manners. Nope, he went ugly hard ball all the way.

The venial twins new Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and OLD Minority Leader Harry Reid

Chuck Schumer smacked President-elect Donald Trump over his “Twitter presidency”. Schumer loves his new role. He was waaaaay too obvious about it. Chuck Schumer doesn’t know anything about being gracious in winning. He is Minority Leader. “Top of the List and A Number One” to quote a song he has probably heard before. I guess “everything old is new again”.

Maybe Chuck Schumer had some kind of bet to see how many times he could say the word “accountable” in a Senate speech. Observe:

What a little pissant Minority Leader. Really, dude. He hasn’t been inaugurated yet. You jump ugly with him already and act all big and bad. Senator Schumer, may I call you Chuck? Chuck, not to be rude, but you have been in politics since 1974. Other than rise through politics, what have you done? According to bio.com

Though he passed his bar exam in 1975, Schumer had opted not to practice law and instead entered politics, which he believed suited his personality better. In 1974, he was elected to the New York State Assembly at the age of 23, becoming the youngest person to hold that particular legislative position since Theodore Roosevelt. He served in the assembly until 1980

So what is Chuck good at? Again, from Bio.com:

A spectacular fundraiser, the perennially popular Schumer has won all of his successive senatorial reelections in 2004, 2010 and 2016, having bested opponents like Alfonse D’Amato and Wendy Long.

Chuck, you have been in the U.S. House and Senate since 1981. What have you done? Again, other than accrue power and position to yourself. Gawd, these people make my hair hurt. The Wall Street Journal had this quote from Chuck:

“If President-elect Trump lets the hard-right members of Congress and his cabinet run the show, if he attempts to adopt their time-worn policies which benefit the elites, the special interests, corporate America—not the working man and woman—his presidency will not succeed,“ Mr. Schumer said in the Senate chamber. ”Maybe not in the first 90 days, but certainly not in the first two years.”

Senator Chuck Schumer approved of the man with a pen and a phone and said nothing for eight years. Well done, Chuck.

Senator Schumer let me give you a home truth. Trump doesn’t owe the elites, special interests or corporate America a darn thing. Now, you may, being as how you are a prolific fundraiser. President-elect Trump only owes the working American people. And, as for Mr. Trump’s cabinet, maybe you could get them coffee.

Senator Schumer has both his undergraduate and J.D. from Harvard, which I have heard is an okay school. In his Ivy League education and epic fundraising political career, he never learned a sense of irony. He sent out the following Tweet about the Trump Twitter Presidency.

Isn’t it ironic?

Opening day of the 115th Congress and Chuck Schumer has proved the Peter Principle. Bravo, sir. #TwitterPresidency. Lololol

I can’t help but think Amy Schumer would have no career if her uncle Chucky weren’t such a big shot! Also, Chucky needs to realize that Twitter is the New Media, and DJT has mastered it. Instead of tweeting hosannas to himself (every notable death gets a tweet of President Stompy Foot with the deceased, as if he were the kiss of death), DJT gets stuff done by letting the world know what he thinks!
(psst—Toni—it’s Peter Principle—-probably the stupid spellcheck did that to you!)

I think it’s a gas! Not only does President-Elect Trump have a pen and a phone, he also has Twitter. Much to the consternation of his detractors, we hear directly from him, not filtered by biased accounts. It seems to make him all the more “Our President.”

Schumer et al are simply trying to pull the reins on The Donald. Good luck with that.

  • […] Senators (six of whom are Republican RINOS) were in favor of ending the filibuster. Tells me that Schumer’s power isn’t as great as he says it […]
