Chris Matthews Jokes About Drugging #Hillary Prior To Interview [VIDEO]

Interesting how when someone is on the liberal side of the fence, they can say just about anything and not get called out on the carpet for it. It seems that Mr. Matthews, host of MSNBC’s show Hardball, has a long and storied history of making callous comments about the fairer sex. While I certainly do not care for Mrs. Clinton for a number of reasons (seriously folks, let me count the ways!).  I also recognize that joking about drugging women when a famous comedian is in the news for doing exactly that is pretty stupid.

Watch for the reaction of the female staffer who hands him the water.

Yes, dear I would be horrified if I worked for that man too! Evidently, Chris has his own set of sexual harassment skeletons in the closet as well. In 1999 an assistant producer was paid $40,000 to keep quiet after she accused him of sexual harassment. At the time, Matthews received a “formal reprimand” (probably a “Stop or I will say stop again!”) and the former assistant producer was paid hush money as she walked out the door.

One thing I certainly understand is the irony of Matthew’s chiding Hillary about Bill’s improprieties during their marriage. He asked her in an interview if that did not end up helping her political career. In an article from The Cut:

“Half my viewers are women. And they want to hear what it takes for a woman to just rise out of a situation which is pretty bad and come out of it and say, You know what? I can rise to this occasion. How did you do it?” he asks, before interrupting several times as she tries to answer.”

The irony is due to the fact that Matthew’s wife, Kathleen, had run for Congress in 2016 and faced what her campaign called unfair questions about her husband’s career helping hers. Pot meet Kettle. He addressed the rumors on his show:

“As her husband, I will, of course, support her in this campaign, as I do in every aspect of our lives,” he said. “I will offer Kathleen whatever help I can, including any advice that might be useful.”

He went on to promise that he would “fully disclose [his] relationship with her” anytime she or the Maryland 8th District race were to come up, though he noted that “Hardball” does not frequently touch on congressional campaigns.

“As a journalist, I also know how important it is to respect certain boundaries on my support for her both in my public role and here on MSNBC,” he said.”

He was also caught by hot mics getting all creepy about First Lady Melania Trump during the campaign during MSNBC’s live coverage of the Indiana Primary in 2016:

“Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God is that good,” Matthews said of Donald Trump’s wife during the network’s live coverage of Indiana’s primary on Tuesday night.

“I could watch that runway show,” he added, seemingly unaware that he was being recorded.

Following the “Hardball” host’s comments, co-anchor Brian Williams quickly moved to a commercial.”

Yeah, Chris, Melania IS a former model. She worked with famous photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and Helmut Newton during her heydey. So, yes that is a very hot runway walk that she has! Still, it doesn’t justify your creepy and inappropriate comments when you don’t think anyone is listening.

Oh well, I guess I will just pull up a chair, pop myself some popcorn and pop a bottle of champagne. I just loooovvvee it when a member of the leftist media gets nailed for their hypocrisy! Cheers!
