Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t like criticism. Her petulant response to constructive criticism over her heinous concentration camp remarks are quite something.

She retweeted this from a ‘historian.’

First of all, in Germany and in other concentration camps around the world, people are FORCIBLY put into those camps.

At the detention centers on our southern border? People are showing up VOLUNTARILY. There is an incredibly big difference between the two. Yet I’ve watched people on social media and reporters do pretzel twists in trying to tell us that AOC’s use of the phrase concentration camp and “Never Again” doesn’t mean what we think it means.

People were nicer in Germany you see. It was Ok that Germany stripped Jews of their citizenship, took away everything they owned, and then threw them into concentration camps where far too many never survived.

But sure – the Republicans are the ones ‘pouncing.’

In response to Liz Cheney, she tweeted this a short while ago.

Also @Liz_Cheney, the fact that you employed the horrifying word “exterminated” here (co-opting the language of the oppressor) tells us that it’s *you* that needs to brush up on your reading.

Nice of her to accuse Liz of anti-semitism after getting called out for her atrocious Holocaust remarks. Well, guess what? In the real concentration camps such as Auschwitz and Birkenau, people were indeed exterminated. 

“A third of the prisoners died every week. If a worker was hurt, they were allotted three days of recovery time. If they failed to heal, the infirmary—where Dr. Mengele was already begun his nefarious work on women and children—would inject a fatal dose of phenol directly into their hearts.

Of the 2,722 Slovakian Jews who had been rounded up with Weczler and Vrba, only 159 survived to the summer of 1942. Those who died had been dumped, with another approximately 105,000 bodies, into shallow trenches around Birkenau. “As they decomposed” Conot noted, “the earth rose like a yeasty mixture of dough and bubbled up nauseating gases, which spread for miles.””

Are people being forced to work at the detention centers? Are they being deprived of food and water? Are they being stripped of their clothing and only given some type of pajama garment? Are they being forcibly tattooed with numbers on their arms? Are they being medically experimented on? Are there gas chambers at the detention centers?

The answer to all of the above is a resounding NO.

Yet AOC and all her media/leftist defenders want us to believe the US is running actual concentration camps.

The dialogue has been so worrisome that the folks at the Auschwitz Museum have entered the fray.

I dare AOC to watch that and learn. Yet, given her actions today, she won’t.

Acting ICE Director Mark Morgan blasted AOC for her remarks.

“”Its completely inappropriate, it’s reckless, it’s irresponsible, it’s misinformed, and it’s flat out wrong,” Morgan told Hill.TV on Tuesday.

Morgan added “there is so much oversight in these facilities,” noting there have been reports from Inspector Generals and non-governmental organizations about the detention centers.

“I encourage the check and balance, I encourage inspections. I feel very satisfied that if you go to these facilities, whether its a border patrol facility or an HHS facility or an ICE facility that there will be safe and adequate conditions to detain individuals,” referring to the Department of Health and Human Services.”

And that petulant child’s response was this tweet.

So very very grownup of a supposed adult and Congresswoman isn’t it? Here’s the thing, she’s wrong on every single level. Including what is actually going on at the detention centers themselves. 

“What the asinine Alexandria was dripping stupidity about was Health and Human Services plan to use Fort Sill, an Army base in Oklahoma to hold growing numbers of immigrant children in its custody after running out of space at government shelters. Health and Human Services said in a statement that it has taken about 40,900 childreninto custody through April 30. That’s a 57% increase from last year, which is a rate on-pace to surpass the record figures in 2016 when 59,171 minors were taken into custody.” [Emphasis Added]

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thought her concentration camp narrative would win her points. It did, with those who are either A. ignorant of history, or B. willing to excuse history in favor of the chosen narrative because, as Twitter has told us, it’s just a bit of semantics.
