Time for a pity party, folks.
Jill Kelley, at the center of the David Petraeus-Paula Broadwell extra-marital affair story, has lost her security clearances.
Not only did she lose her security clearance, but she also lost base privileges and has to register as a visitor just like all of the other visitors to our military bases. Paula Broadwell suffered the same consequences due to her own loose lips.
Poor baby girl. Now Jill’s sure not to get that diplomatic protection she called 911 for….

How on earth did she get any kind of security clearance to begin with? Did they do a background check? Take her fingerprints?

I hadn’t seen or heard anything about Jill Kelley having a security clearance, only that her privileges to come onto MacDill. What the hell would Kelley even *need* a security clearance for. I hope that is just a mistake in reporting that Kelley had a clearance and that the Army isn’t really that stupid…
Broadwell, on the other hand, I understand. She’ll be lucky if she doesn’t go to jail for possessing classified materials. Even if she still had clearance, what was her “need to know”?
