White House Asked Ben Carson To Apologize for Offending Obama

Someone needs to give the Obama White House a primer on a little document called the Constitution.  After Dr. Ben Carson’s highly conservative and controversial message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year, the event organizers called him to say that “the White House was upset and requesting that I call the president and apologize for offending him.”

What in God’s green earth was the poor, naked little emperor so upset about?  Was it the four Bible verses Carson quoted?

Proverbs 11:9 With his mouth the Godless destroys his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous escapes.

Proverbs 11:12 A man who lacks judgement derides his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his tongue

Proverbs 11:25 A generous man will prosper. He who refreshes others will himself, be refreshed.

2nd Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

I can certainly see why someone like Obama would be highly offended at those words.  But maybe that wasn’t it.  Was it this little gem?

[Being] pc is dangerous. Because, you see, this country one of the founding principles was freedom of thought and freedom of expression. and it muffles people. It puts a muzzle on them. And at the same time, keeps people from discussing important issues while the fabric of this society is being changed. And we cannot fall for that trick. And what we need to do is start talking about things, talking about things that are important.

No irony there at all, considering Obama wanted to do exactly that—muzzle Carson.

Perhaps our feckless “ruler” was angry that Carson reminded his audience that the only reason that the flag at Fort McHenry was still flying at the end of that horrible battle was because of the Americans who, one by one, gave their lives to keep it flying.  He doesn’t like the idea of dead Americans, you know; after all, they’re just fake scandals and bumps in the road—especially if they died defending others, or defending freedom.  If they’re alive and loudly telling the world that they enjoy sodomy in their spare time, however, then the red carpet comes out.

What’s even more pathetic than the fact that the little king wanna-be was upset, is the idea that he didn’t even have the testicular fortitude to talk to Carson about it himself.

“Many have commented that the president appeared to be uncomfortable during my speech, but I was not paying particular attention to him or his reactions, as my comments were really directed more at the American people than the people on the dais,” Carson recalls. “At the conclusion of the program, the president approached me to shake my hand and thank me for my participation.”

In other words, “Thanks for your participation.  In fact, I’m so appreciative of you being here that I’m going to go pout in my big house and get my minions to tell you that you made me upset and should apologize.”

Let’s put this in perspective.  We have a president who is a laughingstock to the few world leaders he hasn’t bowed down to (literally), the world is going to hell in a handbasket, and this whiny little baby is upset that a conservative—who, by the way, happens to actually be twice as black as Obama is (but who’s counting?)—schooled him in front of God and everyone.

Obama goes by one of the unwritten rules of liberalism: What liberals like should be mandatory, and what they don’t like should be banned.  Ben Carson had the gall to openly disagree with pretty much Obama’s entire administration, and he did it right in front of him.  Carson dared to use his right of free speech to say things that Obama didn’t like, and therefore he needed to be told to apologize.  Naturally, Carson told them—in a classy and intelligent way, of course—that no, he wouldn’t be doing that.

The problem with this is simple; so simple, in fact, that it shouldn’t even have to be said.  President Obama is such a narcissist that he actually thinks people should not be able to disagree with him.  He believes so strongly in his own hype that he thinks people like Ben Carson should have to apologize if Obama decides he’s offended.  Imagine what he would have done if Carson got up and called Michelle a “mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick.”  Or if he’d have called Obama’s daughters whores.  Or perhaps any one of the long list of things that liberals have said about conservatives with absolutely no apologies whatsoever.

Mr. “President,” you need to get over yourself.  It’s free speech, stupid.  If you had the faintest clue about the Constitution you supposedly taught at one time, you wouldn’t be sitting in your Oval Office with your nasty feet up on the desk that belongs to the American people, crying about the mean things that the premier pediatric neurosurgeon in the country said in your presence—the ones that just happened to fit almost as tightly as the tarp-sized dresses your wife buys at Frank’s Tent and Awning Shop.

By the way—don’t have your people call me.  I won’t apologize either.

This was in addition to being audited by the IRS. Racist, obviously.

Obviously, this administration is not the first to voice displeasure about objectionable statements. For me, at some point things crossed a line (no, I don’t care how much you threaten, I’m not moving it). It move from he said/did what to “Is there no end in sight?”
Therefore, when something like this incident with Carson is reported, it’s difficult more me to be objective. And, frankly, when any leader becomes the major focal point or topic of conversation it is a sign of a weak or failed leader.

To be fair, free speech is offensive to liberals.

I would much rather Obama apologized for imitating a president.

Ben Carson is brilliant and correct. Obama doesn’t deserve to sit at the same table as Dr. Carson. You do not have to be a conservative Christian Caucasian to realize Obama is literally attempting to destroy America. His roots are Islam and he is our enemy. He should be impeached for treason. I am supporting Dr. Carson for President. He is Gods’ answer to Obama and last chance for America.
